Pancreas surgery and the use of TachoSil®
Tachosil is indicated for supportive treatment in surgery for improvement of haemostasis, where standard techniques are insufficient. The patch is an equine-derived, honeycomb-like collagen sponge coated with a dry layer of the coagulation factors, human fibrinogen and human thrombin.
